i (once again...) went a bit overboard and turned this into a full-blown drawing rather than just a sketch -- partly because i liked the concept so much that i felt like it deserved extra time and attention. see, the point here is to give an idea of scale. the three goldfish-like merpeople are all the size of average humans, so this is how huge the whale shark and orca boys are in comparison.
