i finished one of these sketches! … and yeah, that’s serpentine as in snake coils, not the stone — because as you might remember, yushe is actually made of jade.
ky, jess, oddingtoon goon, and akira all requested more art of the heavenly naga monster-of-the-month from may 2019! the original painting is still a personal favourite, but it’s really cool to see the improvements in how i colour & render texture, the anatomy, and in how the bodies in the image above have more form and weight.
