Suggest MOTM design prompts!
Added 2021-02-05 16:41:55 +0000 UTCit's that time again, people -- time to suggest design prompts for upcoming monster of the month polls! each monthly monster is decided through a vote and the options are based on patron suggestions, so go ahead and tell me what you'd like to see me design and draw this year.
you can suggest stuff like...
- different types of monsters & supernatural beings from folklore, legend, and myth, whether well-known or obscure.
- themes - like elements, emotions, abstract concepts, virtues, sins, environments, materials, weather, constellations, tarot cards, etc.
- aesthetics - stuff that could be tagged with #aesthetics moodboard on tumblr. like ‘demented bride’ or ‘starlight witch’ or ‘underworld prince’ or ‘swamp ritual.’
- monstrous design features - like ‘tentacles’ or ‘oily goo’ or ‘bioluminescence’ or ‘sideways mouth.’
- mysterious prompts that sound like titles (‘the lord of the deep’) or epithets (‘the destroyer’) or something equally evocative (‘the fortune teller’).
- anything else you can think of!
your ideas can be vague or specific, you can suggest as many things as you want, and you can come back to add more at any time! comment with your suggestions - or, in case you want to stay anonymous, send me a DM.
(disclaimer: please note that i do retain the right to refuse any suggestion if, for whatever reason, i'd feel uncomfortable drawing it. entering a suggestion does not guarantee that i will draw it. i might also tweak suggestions, combine them with others, simplify it if it's very specific/detailed, elaborate on it if it’s very vague, etc.)
