i can't stop sketching vaska please send help
jk, this lad is an absolute delight to draw. his design is much the same as it always has been, but i've been fine-tuning some details and finally figured out what his clothes look like. i'm quite proud of how his hair, fur, feathering, and even the big fluffy collar has the same scruffy texture; it's an element that translates nicely between his different forms. i'm also pleased with the skulking, predatory posture, the creepy grin, and the lanky anatomy; basically i think i've nailed all the aspects of his design that matter, and it feels great.
here is a (somewhat nsfw) sketchdump from over two and a half years ago, if you want to compare 1) how my sketches looked then vs now and 2) how i drew vaska then vs now.
