Added 2020-10-22 17:22:43 +0000 UTCit's been almost 3 months since i posted this drawing of march & charlie, but it remains a personal favourite among my recent pieces. i'm so happy with the pose, the anatomy, the expressions of both characters, the thin and precise lineart, the colouring, and the colour palette. it feels like a "less is more" kind of drawing because the relatively simple colouring came out so great (the video exemplifies how i apply gradients bodypart by bodypart to 'shape' the characters), there's just the right amount of detail, and everything is in the right place. i was going to apologise for bragging, but you know what? you are allowed to be proud of your own art! when your hard work pays off, give yourself a pat on the back and a handful of compliments. you fucking deserve it.
