EARLY ACCESS: ode to my teeth (week 36) // sfw

this week, i suddenly got two wisdom teeth pulled out. i’ve never pulled any teeth before, so i was really scared and anxious leading up to it. the procedure was a harrowing experience, but i had a great dentist & technician who were both fantastic at making me feel safe and comfortable, all things considered.
however, pulling two teeth the same week (one on each side of the mouth) meant i haven’t been able to eat solid food for days. i’ve been starving (buckets of yoghurt can only do so much), exhausted, moody, uncomfortable, and anxious about healing up without issue. i’ve been trying to catch up on stuff i need to get done, but i’ve hardly been in a creative state of mind.
still, i didn’t want to skip doing a piece for week 36 ... but i knew it would definitely have to be really quick & simple. in all honesty i whipped this witchy, tattoo-esque drawing up in 45 minutes but i’m hoping it’ll help me get back into my groove & ready to tackle other obligations. in a sense, drawing this helped me process shit, too. i’m def not in the best place rn but i’m hoping the rest of september will be better.
