Hey everyone! Apologies for the long period without an update - I hope this story makes up for it. It's a pretty long one, and I spent a great deal of time on it. This is actually the story written for the $10 patron prompt at the start of this month. I found myself very engrossed with the characters, and so I wanted to take a lot of time to do them justice and to write in a way that seemed to suit the subject. The result is that it's a kind of serious and (hopefully) very compelling story about a knight, a princess, a dragon, and the ways that corruption can set you free. It's in a similar vein to the story 'Fallen Sanctuary' I wrote a while back, which seems to have become a favourite for a lot of people, but with a more positive angle.

Anyway, that's enough preamble. The prompt was 'A proud, female knight succumbs to a dragon's corrupting flames and decides the dragon is a worthier queen than the captured princess.' Ser Lenna, a knight, is forced to confront her own feelings for the princess when the dragon displays the ability to burn away inhibitions just as effective as anything else. Enjoy!

P.S. there's no actual dragonfucking in the story. I feel like I should mention that, both to advise people who aren't into that, and to make sure that people who are *really* into that don't wind up too disappointed :p
