Perhaps this is not a popular opinion, but their stylists did them no favors "back then." I am a makeup artist and I don't dig those early looks. I will say I have legitimately been ARMY since 2015, so I am true...APOBANGPO...all the way. So I am not casually saying crap. BTS looks have developed incredibly over ten years, but there is, nor was, anyone better. (and I've been loving KPop for a LONG time) BTW, when criticized, RM has spoken to some of his earlier lyrics with attitude toward "girls" and had basically said he would be careful to not offend going forward. He was called out for it.
