I have seen them live multiple times, and seeing them live is very different. They are fantastic, and the genuine truth and realism is very refreshing. You can tell, when seeing them live, just their attitude and how they perform, shows how truly much all these things truly matter to them and how they truly want to help inform us all, and actually make a difference within all these injustices. Especially in the world where every one just wants to ignore everything and just pass the blame around to whom ever they can without ever taking any responsibility. Rise Against brings these things to the forefront and makes people pay attention, not to mention makes those who are the guilty party not be able to act like none of it exists. It does all exist and we are pissed and yes, we know you people are guilty. And also we can learn that maybe even though we haven't knowingly thought we have been apart of these problems, we might be wrong and more involved than we think, even if it is because we are staying quiet and letting it all happen aroun us, while knowing what is happening is wrong. Their music is, to me atleast, in part, a wake up call. To stop being ignorant to the injystices andhypocrisies ngoing on in this world around us, especially if it is possible that we can be trying to make a difference for the better. Their music gives a message of...... You can foul others, but not us. And we will hold you responsible! (so to speak) We will make you face it. Thats the type of feelings I get from a lot of Rise Against. And it is a rarity, but is absolutely needed and important within this world we live into today, where so many can act like they did or are doing nothing wrong... but nope! We know better!!! And clearly, through this music we are clearly telling you that we infact do know, we know more about whats really going on than you may think, and we know you are guilty, and we are done staying silent, letting everyone just get away with all these things, without most others being any the wiser. Don't worry we are hear to let them know what is really going on, and no... it is not OKAY!!!! And hopefully, just simply being more informed, and less ignorant to what is realky going on alk around us, or even right in front of ourselves.....can be a beginning step to helping us bring about accountability and make a change! Hopefully for the better. For the better of not just ourselves, it is all truly so much bigfer than all that. Les us our knowledge as a foubdation to bring about positive change if possible. Or at the very least make those responsible in the first place more accoubtable for their actions, but also more accoubtable for the sad and detestable outcomes that they have caused, and to all the people all these things have continued to negatively effect, in the past, the present and still to come within the future. We see alk of you.... and the disgusting desicionns you have selfishly made, and continue to make. We are sick of it, and need to try and bring about positive change, and more accountability in this world. We need to broaden our minds and be more aware of the wrongs being committed all around us, the things that are being hidden, or swept under the rug. This is our world, we only get one, and maybe its time for us to try and take a step forward, maybe try and take a stand. We all have a voice, maybe its time we start speaking up instead of just staying quiet. In fact maybe it is time to take a step forward and strive to make our voices heard louder, especially when speaking up against injustice. And even though it often may seem like we aren't getting anywhere, that alone we are only one voice, not able to effect much. But in truth one voice may be all it takes to get things started, til we become many voices standing together, louder and stronger.
