I have NEVER tired of ANY LP! Never skip. One Step Closer and In the End are couple of my all time favorites. I have had the privilege of being in their presence on a number of occasions and right up front and close at their shows, including mash-ups with Jay-Z. Honestly, I don't care much at all for Jay-Z and he was the only jerk, but LP WAS always just as GREAT live! Chester and Mike (Shinoda) were the best bouncing off each other! I STILL have not "gotten over" losing Chester. KING. I will not...cannot...listen to the "new" Linkin Park. Just can't...or won't. Fort Minor, however, is a band you may enjoy checking out. Shinoda's other "side gig." LOVE your reaction. Honestly, I came to your Patreon for your BTS reactions, but Linkin Park sits real deep in my heart and soul.
You also should react to LP's Minutes to Midnight. Not as "hard." Leave Out All the Rest still tears me up. Almost like one of the many foretelling messages from Chester.
ALSO>>>Another great loss, Chester's friend, Chris Cornell...Soundgarden/Audio Slave/Temple of the Dog...ALL worth a listen!
...a little FURTHER down...how do you feel about [earlier] RHCP...or BEASTIE BOYS???...

I was like 17 when this came out, I listened to it on repeat over and over while I would play EverQuest, some of the happiest memories I have. I watched the one on YT and really looking forward to seeing it uncut.

I genuinely think he needs to see Live in Texas, the whole concert for this album is on YouTube and it’s phenomenal! The emotion from Chester and Mike Shinoda in his element is unreal 💕💕

It is always so delightful to see someone discover a new genre of music or a new artist that they vibe with. Your passion and insights and genuine feelings about it are SO cool. Rock on, my friend.

When you're talking about feeling relieved, even though the songs are "dark", I think the word you're looking for is catharsis. Because it's the same for me. It's one of those albums that let's you release some pent up emotions and feel better about life

I've been watching your vids for a while now. I just joined your patreon to see the full reaction to this album. I've listened to LP since HS and I'm 41 now. Seeing how energetic you are about every song warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes, I was and still am very devastated about Chester's passing. But seeing you love it, makes me smile <3

i’m 48 this year, and still listen to songs from this album every day. LP is one of 4 bands i credit with my still being alive. a month after this album came out i got a tattoo inspired by “papercut” on my back because it affected me that much. still does 💜

the people who hate on nu-metal are honestly just gatekeeping douchebags. they prefer a certain style of metal from the 70s-on that started with bands like black sabbath and includes metallica, anthrax, megadeth and the newer really heavy stuff. ironically those same guys shitting on nu-metal love anthrax who did a damn song with public enemy 🤦🏼♀️ ok, rant over. i legitimately love those original metal bands, and pretty much every one of the bajillion subgenres of metal there now are. except neo-nazi black metal. fuck those guys 💜 but i will say, for the hate they got there is a reason this album is one of the best selling albums of all time worldwide. last i checked it was over 30 million copies.

Teddy my guy!! I was 12 when this album came out.. and well into my teen years these lyrics just spoke and understood what it was I feeling.. I had no idea why or what I was feeling. But when I listen to this album it just fucking understood me, and how you say it’s like a relief, it was and is a relief like “okay someone understands and feels like this too” and I felt better. Back then there was no therapy unless you were “crazy” and in a Hispanic household nothing was talked about, so I felt like i was crazy. The blend of the instruments and Hahn (the dj) like you say people with ADHD it’s calming because there’s so much to focus on, with the lyrics and the beautiful sounds of Chester and mikes vocals was such a relief. To see your reactions I love because you can articulate what I felt the first time I heard it, but not really understanding my thought process around it because I was so young. I’ve said it before, you are by far my most favorite person to watch on reacting videos ❤️. Lol sorry for the rant now I go

Please tell me someone told him Nu Metal is a subgenre of metal/rock and it’s specifically spelled like that hopefully you’ll continue checking out Linkin Park’s full albums because they have such great music and they are fantastic live I feel so lucky that I was fortunate enough to see them before Chester passed I definitely feel like you should check out some of their live videos because they know how to command a crowd and just deliver a fantastic performance

This made me cry because Teddy really is helping me re-listen to their songs again, I can separate myself and enjoy his joy instead. Just like you, I couldn't listen to any song or album after Chester passed. I had never had a parasocial relationship with a celebrity but his voice literally saved me and it's funny how life works that an Englishman first time reacting to them has me re-listening to them again after 5 years.

When I found Linkin Park as a very depressed and undiagnosed ADHD teenager, I found music that literally saved me. Every song spoke to me and for me and your reaction of how is just snatches your brain and if you had this music when you were younger, maybe you wouldn't have acted out as much as you did just hit the nail right on the head for what it did for me. I've always felt like certain type of people are drawn to their sound and music and because of that, they've become one of the most extreme bands where people either hate them or love them lol. Please don't become too focused on whether or not you're getting the terminology for the music correctly and just enjoy it and give us your 2 cents! I went in and became a pateron for your kpop reactions but I've found that your rock reactions are so much more enjoyable! It really lets your inner musician shine through and who you are shine through. I literally found out you have ADHD/Autism & that you're a wonderful father through these videos ♥ and it made me feel more connected to you. Looking forward to more of your reactions and breakdowns!

Linkin Park helped give so many of us a voice. And I mean that in many different ways.
But I'm pretty sure you are already coming to understanding this. And it wasn't just a voice pointed towards others outside of ourselves, but a voice that needed and wanted to be heard better from within ourselves as well. Hope that makes sense.
They helped us to express ourselves better, and to be more ok, so to speak, with the darker sides of life that we experience within ourselves, maybe this is because at the same time
they also helped us feel like we weren't alone, even when it comes to these more intense and darker things going on in our lives or simply within ourselves. Because of Linkin Park and the music they put out into this world, many of us actually started to realize that we weren't the only ones feeling these types of things, or going through these different, and often more than not, hidden things.
This is one of the best ways I can think to describe some of what Linkin Park and their incredible music helped do for so many of us. And even though all this is definitely based on only my experience, I said it like this because this has been what I have come to understand that they did for many others besides myself as well. So just wanted to share some of these thoughts.
Thank you for the reaction. Appreciate it a lot.

It brings me so much fun to see you enjoying Linkin Park so much. For me and probably many others their music was therapy. Personally I couldn't listen to them for years after Chester passed away. Seeing people reacting like you do helps me to reframe, and enjoy those albums again. Thanks

Oh, Teddy! I sub'd to your Patreon just so I could watch ALL of your full reactions to this album. I AM FRIGGIN' LOVING IT!!! I so adore how much you love music and lyrics. It is exciting to see someone experience LP for the first time. On to the next video. And, then, of COURSE you're going to have to react to the full Meteora album (the next one)! LOL

I can't even put into words everything I want to say about this. But in the beginning of the video I was yelling at the screen because of all the pausing hahaha
I'm so happy you're loving Linkin Park, and so excited for you to be having this experience of listening to these masterpieces for the first time. I do want to say... You mentioned that you don't know enough about this type of music to properly comment on their musicality and such... you don't have to, that's the beauty of it, you can just close your eyes and listen to it and let it flow through you and enjoy.

To go down the nu metal journey I suggest you check out limp Bizkit „break stuff“ that shows of how teens felt in the late 90s (video comes with Eminem, dr dre and snoop). Soundtrack of a generation

It’s so sick that you get to hear all this music for the first time! Now you’re getting to see what we all know… Linkin Park is fire! 🔥
I suggested it on another video last week I think, but you should really check out Foo Fighters - Best Of You!… Such a powerful song that will bring out pure emotion and will also make you want to punch the air at the same time! 🤣 and then you’ll fall down the Foo Fighters rabbit hole! 🤣
