PVC clarinet blueprint
Added 2021-01-31 19:18:32 +0000 UTCA simple diatonic clarinet with 20mm pressure PVC, here is the blueprint:
The body is 20mm pressure pipe, 2.8mm thickness.
The barrel, where you put the clarinet mouthpiece, is made like this :
I use a 20mm PVC electric sheath half-sleeve to put on the 20mm PVC pressure pipe and connect the two parts, and a 25mm PVC electric sheath pipe piece to make the barrel. I glued them, and heat a little the 25mm pipe to fit the clarinet mouthpiece perfectly.

I will definitely try this. I got one of those cheap wood ones from Amazon, and I've already experimented with fitting clarinet and sax mouthpieces to bamboo and PVC. I took clarinet all through middle and high school, I have 5 of them plus a few extra mouthpieces :)
