Upcoming Changes

Well fellas, as they say, the only constant is change. And change is indeed in the works. Both in my personal life - I have changed jobs, for one thing - and here on this Patreon.

For one thing, coming soon, I am planning to switch the membership here to monthly, and to redo the tiers. There are several reasons for this!

1. It is becoming increasingly clear that Patreon has deprioritized the "per creation" model. Every new feature they launch is only for subscriptions. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually just get rid of per-creation altogether, and I want to be ahead of that.

2. I refrained from even thinking about doing this until I knew I had a proper queue of stories that are done or close to it - and now I finally do! So you can sign up assured that your money will be getting you a new story each month.

3. The tiers have all sort of blended together and this will allow me a clean reset - and prevent any of you from overpaying for features that you're not getting.

4. The surprise nuking of my Tumblr has made it clear that I have to put more work into properly archiving my stories and making them available. It is such a daunting task that I've put it off for literally years, but I just have to do it. Having more settings with Collections lets me give my old stories a real place to live and perhaps even be sold to the public (meaning not regular patrons like you all!)

5. No more freebies for the people who sign up and then immediately cancel after downloading all my shit. Yes, I see you, yes, I know who you are, and yes, the gravy train is ending. Choo choo muthafuckas

I'm excited to be releasing a lot more work to you all. With my recent job change and upcoming minor surgery, I've had and will have a lot of time to write, and then I'll be back in the gym after I've recovered and turning myself into the bodybuilder of my dreams (although some are saying I already have achieved that...and maybe I have???)

I know I say it a lot, but most of all I am grateful to every single one of you who has decided that my stories are worth investing in and supporting. We occupy a weird little corner of the Internet over here and post-Tumblr, it seems not everyone likes us or wants us around, but I'm not going anywhere and it builds my confidence knowing you aren't either. Thank you thank you thank you. I really can't say it enough. You are also helping me personally as I have a lot of expenses this month and don't have a lot of money coming in. I am good, I am fine, but I am better with this safety net!
