Added 2020-07-07 20:40:44 +0000 UTCHello again everyone! You've done well to survive another month of 2020. Whatever corner of the Internet you're in, there has been much news to soak in, and I truly hope y'all are remembering to protect your mental health.
I'll keep this somewhat brief to avoid repeating myself: 14 minutes of the video's runtime is completely edited and "ready" for upload. Unfortunately, I've run into a serious roadblock with the ending sequence that has taken me out of "finish it" mode and into "create it" mode, basically meaning this could take some time. I'd like to give a bit of an apology for saying things like "June upload I guess!", as I should have realized by now that this is always going to take longer than I expect it to 😣.
Rest assured that even on the hardest days I am doing everything I can to work at least 5 hours and will continue to do so until both this and the Behind-the-Scenes videos are uploaded. I may start working on the BTS video alongside the main project to give myself some productive breaks, so they may both come out in August alongside one another.
The attached video is part of one of my favorite sequences, and I chose it because the transition at the end is the ultimate example of how I create unexpected work. "How can I make this transition more interesting? It's a big tone shift... well this next song starts with a piano slide, what if I do this?" and then 5 hours go into one transition that was never anywhere in the script 😂. But I'm really proud of that one and I hope you are too!
