(probably last) Update on the Demo video!

Now that I've got the more headache-inducing parts of the video done, I'm bouta buckle down and blast this video out before end of May. I swear it feels like I have to completely relearn the creative process every time I make a new episode. "How tf did I write a script last time??" "How did I animate a minute-long scene??". It's frustrating but maybe that's what it takes to up the ante every time.
The attached GIF is a creative solution to the practical problem of "how the hell do stickies get out of the sticky launcher?" As you can see in the 2nd picture, the stickybomb is literally two times as big as the barrel (it's the same for soldier rockets). I tried to just smallify the stickybomb but it looked COMICALLY small because the spikes were taking up a good 30% of the barrel diameter. So I came up with this headcanon that the sticky spikes extend out after exiting the barrel (idk maybe it's triggered by some detection of air resistance? science π!). After all, it seems like it would be a problem to have a bunch of sticky stickies in the sticky drum! Thanks again to Alaxe for some help on making the launcher's barrel a proper dimension.
The last set of photos is one of my favorite bits featuring mafioso Demoman. I looked it up and apparently there is a healthy population of Italians in Scotland so you can't convince me this isn't in character π€ͺ
Personally I'm feelin better than ever, therapy is based you should try it! I'm hopeful that everything I've learned from my personal gunk in this production cycle will prevent me from falling into a rut next time. Thank you thank you as always for bein patient with my funky process! ππ π
