Added 2021-10-17 06:25:18 +0000 UTCI was so tempted to write a click-bait style headline: "I increased my Patreon pledges 72% in 24 hours with this one weird trick." The trick was to tell Comic Rocket's users that there's a Patreon here. Weird, right?
For the existing patrons who haven't seen it yet, I wrote about what I've been up to lately on Comic Rocket's newly relaunched blog. I mentioned there that with enough support here, I'd be able to put more time into Comic Rocket again.
Turns out, people who like Comic Rocket are generous folk, and you're kind, too. I've received so many wonderful notes in the last day. I deeply appreciate the support I've gotten from everyone!
I'm super excited at how things are going right now, and inspired to tackle more of my Comic Rocket to-do list.

No worries, it's my fault for not promoting this Patreon. Better late than never, right? And yeah, it's always been important to me to make life better for readers without hurting creators. I was the only person submitting patches for dailystrips.pl to debian for quite a while and was even on the brink of writing my own tool to scrape comics in python, when I finally found comicrocket and it solves all my needs **as well** as the creator's needs (unlike dailystrips or other scraping tools).
