Does anyone else think, despite the fact he may not even have been a sorcerer and he hates magic, that Varys would have tried black magic to find the voice or explore black magic to discover the spell and its origin and purpose? He would have had access to research it at least. With all the different belief systems it’s possible it’s just not well known, attached to old black stone level magic ect.
