Update? Progress?

Hey folks, sorry for the radio silence once again.

So first off I'd like to say thank you to everyone who's still here. I honestly expected a good, good chunk of patrons to fall off. Maybe this post will do the trick.

These past months I've fallen under my yearly Fallout spell and been working on these short-burst poster projects (all still WIP) whenever I had some time to burn. All models are either free downloads or purchased. There's some modeling work done on them and scratch made materials for all. Doing material work has become a very relaxing, brain-off hobby for me ever since Airwatch/Patient Zero. It's great to be able to turn out an asset in a week or two and have that burst of "Yay I finished something!"

I'm sorry if, after months, this feels like a stab in the back. This is what I currently feel a great passion for, and what I have the capacity for. (posters vs video) This doesn't mean I'm dropping HL for Fallout. Not in the slightest. Classic Fallout (and New Vegas) is very dear to me and a close second to HL. I need to get these out of my system. Plus the "jetlag" from Patient Zero had a bit of a buffer time until it hit me, so some time away from HL is a healthy sidetrack for the moment. There might be a Fallout short in the future, but at this point I'm not thinking beyond making some cool posters.

As for the HL shorts, I still don't have a concrete answer. Doing a regular job and going to appointments was significantly more draining on my capacity to sit down and do a work process that I don't particularly enjoy doing than I thought I'd be. I'm thinking specifics here like animation stitching, battling with particle systems etc etc. I want to get back to working on videos, but I'll have to overcome how stretched out a project will become. I worked on Patient Zero for 4 months an average 8hr/day and in my current situation it'd easily take a year to produce the same thing.
