Also, in Catelyn, when they discuss the wolves and where they came from, I’ve always wondered about the makeup of the litter. Ok, so Bloodraven probably has the power to capture a pregnant direwolf and control it to be (dead) in the right place at the right time. But could he really have the power to influence the number of pups and their sex? Surely that must be in the hands of the ‘gods’.
