I got a bit ahead on my reread but wanted to post this before I forgot: Arya 4 ACOK is the most prominent foreshadowing example of the battle of Winterfell against the Others. A band of rag tag fighters, some innocent and some not so much, against a common enemy. A neverending wave of faceless enemies climbing over a castle wall, Arya and friends try to battle them off. The imagery to me seems very similar to TV GOT 8/3. The main difference that a lot of people projected before season 8 was that people in winterfell would escape through the paths that Bran and Luwin talked about with Theon. If that happens in the book, Arya saves Jaquen and others through an underground tunnel while everything is burning. Seems like foreshadowing.
