Nora Maldonado is a supernaturally aware gal from the suburbs of Northern California that moves to L.A. with her estranged father sometime after the death of her mother.
Getting settled in her new environment is complicated by the ritual of an evil sorceress to capture the ancient god Quetzalcoatl. Rather than be trapped by the sorceress, the god instead bestows its power to Nora, transforming her into his champion and avatar Ehecatl.
With a new family, new responsibilities, and several malevolent entities out for her blood, Nora must find a way to gain control of her new powers to protect herself and those she cares about from the forces that would do them harm.
