Quick Draw Challenge

Cherry pic to kick off the month.
This was done in about the two hours I have of "free time" at the day job, or, more accurately, the flat color was. Couldn't help but add some cel shading after I got home.

I'm gonna aim to do a decently clean sketch like this each day of this month as a skill-building challenge. It won't just be my own characters, but ones that I've been meaning to draw since forever and also ones you guys suggest in the discord. We've got a good lost goin already!...

These are the result of some experimentation with cel-shading that I’ve been doing. I’m really pleased with the result! Gonna keep working with this method to expedite my process and get more pictures done.

Though open and passionate about her work, she is a very private individual who keeps a small circle of friends, the most important of them being Hazelnut. She enjoys reading nonfiction books, particularly historical accounts of ancient cultures. She is a novice gardener but shows little talent for it.

I spent my time at work this last Friday thumbnailing the pages for a sort of one-shot comic introducing Nana and Cherry as more fleshed-out characters.

It starts from Nana's perspective giving an overview of herself and her friendship/romantic feelings toward Cherry, then shifts to Cherry streaming and going over her own feelings for Nana.  Near the end there will be a few lewd pages of the stream that I'll probably expand upon - those will be posted separately.

A Second Personal Update

As a bit of good news, my partner finally left her debilitating job of the last sixteen years. To help us make ends meet, though, I’ve recently taken up some extra work. My schedule fluctuates a bit more now, but I’ve figured out a way to still get some drawing and painting in each day.
