Stories from Ireland (and GRRM!) (livestream)

Before returning to our regular content schedule, a collection of stories, anecdotes and photos from our 12 day trip to Ireland. We attended 3 events with GRRM, and got to chat with him and lots of other interesting people about ASOIAF and random geeky stuff.
We went to quite a few of the filming locations for GoT, did a panel on prequel show possibilities with Elio Garcia and Adam Whitehead, and Aziz petted *the* Summer and *the* Grey Wind. There were a variety of interesting panels we attended that we will recount in part as well.
We got another question answered by him in an official Q&A, met Michael Klarfeld in person and managed not to die driving on the other side of the road. Thanks to Christina Triple for that, who was with us for the whole trip, and joining us as a guest today.

2019-09-04 15:59:10 +0000 UTCThis was almost as much fun 2nd time around. I was fortunate enough to see forbidden planet as hosted by George as part of worldcon and that too was a lot of fun. But in my wildest dreams I never imagined Iβd be sat around a table having a beer with him.
