2022-09-03 10:52:07 +0000 UTCOk so since you have seen AOS season 7 I want to connect some threads based on my theories of who killed Thompson. First off the council this season have that pin. That pin is the same symbol used by Gideon Malick Project distant star at NASA to get hive. So based on that idea the council I believe is a faction of Hydra. Sousa in season 7 was investigating Hydra presents in shield and he says he lost good people to Hydra. I believe Thompson death sparked him to look deeper into the council and that is why he took them down. But as u know that got him killed as well by Freddy Malick. But Peggy I believe did the opposite. She lost so many people because of them being close to her and I believe that when she found out what happened to Thompson she ended things with Daniel to focus on just work (this leads her to start shield with Howard later on) She goes back to New York. (Ironically this is what Thompson tries to get her to do all season) If u watch the agent Carter one shot after this I think it fits well if you believe she is grieving Thompson.
