Yeah, I screen-capture what I'm watching, so it's a small window to keep the file size down. I do miss some visual details that way, sadly! And yes, recaps can be super spoilery! ;-) I had planned on reacting to Stranger Things 4, but a friend of mine begged me to watch it with her when it premiered, so I caved. I absolutely loved the Dark Crystal series - I agree, it was amazing!

2022-08-22 07:38:56 +0000 UTCWhen I started the season I let the recap play and if I recall it ended on reveal last season that Harlan still had powers. So when they first introduced Lester with all his audio cassettes and him numbering his sandwiches kinda gave me the Vibe that he was on the spectrum. So I assumed that might have been Harlan but then the diner scene when Alisons PTSD was starting and she had that memory of the jerk from last season it kinda threw me off a bit. They made it seem like Lester was able to make people relive old memories which wouldn't be a power I would have expected from Harlan. So the reveal later didn't really surprise me as much but I think the recap planted that seed and it kinda just stuck with me. Recaps can be as bad as trailers sometimes I guess lol. Was going to post this on the appropriate episode but didn't get around to it. You had mentioned you watch the shows on a smaller screen. Don't know exactly how small but I watch most of my 1st time viewings on my 65" so maybe it is just more apparent when its on that big of a screen but I was definitely under the impression Harlan was dead. You mention stranger things in this episode, I know you had season3 on here. Wasn't sure if you would be doing season4 don't think i've seen it mentioned anywhere but sounds like you might have watched it already. You had talked about how much you liked the Dark Crystal movies as well but I am guessing you watched that show on your own as well? I wasn't a huge fan of the movie but I thought the show was amazing.
