The Curse of Peladon, The Sea Devils, The Three Doctors, Carnival of Monsters, The Green Death, The Time Warrior and Planet of the Spiders are the stories she'll be reacting to from those seasons. No Day of the Daleks, Frontier in Space or Invasion of the Dinosaurs, sadly.

I must admit that some of the incidental music composed by Dudley Simpson can be both effective and jarring. However Dudley Simpson returned to more orchestral score in future seasons. Although they did use other composers at the time. Certainly there was a great deal of location work during this time. Which stories will you be reacting to for Seasons 9, 10 and 11?

While Troughton had a couple of stories with some good choreographed action (such as The Invasion - another Earth based story involving UNIT), they’ve really taken it to another level with Pertwee. Which, of course, is the intention - you have the military involved in most stories, lots of great location shoots (yes, that’s a real castle that they used for the prison - Dover Castle - which I’m sure they were thrilled to get to use), and Pertwee gets to indulge in his passion for fast cars and other modes of transport! And yes, the Master is obsessed with the Doctor. It’s always been his prime motivation, and a good part of the reason he so often fails in his plots. For many of us Roger Delgado is the best Master - he portrays him with such delightful evil charm. Also, he and Jon Pertwee were very close friends, and I think that adds to their dynamic and chemistry on screen. You get something of the same with Peter Capaldi and Michelle Gomez, I think.
