I've been busy updating all the software (and configuration) on the servers and making VM images of the new webservers/etc. YTMNDev is up (albeit in a slightly broken state), and I hope to allow all you patreons to start testing it by Christmas time. I hope you're all doing well.

Virtualization Ahoy!

I wanted to give you an update on the new hardware I purchased. It's now all set up (minus some stuff damaged in shipping), and I've completed the slow and lengthy process of migrating all the physical machines to virtual machines. YTMND is now entirely virtualized, and we are also managing our own router and switch, making many things significantly easier in the long run.

New YTMND Loader/Player is live!

Just wanted to drop an update with the latest progress. After a good deal of work on the native HTML5 loader/player, it is now live on all subdomains. Flash is no longer being used in any capacity on the subdomains, and we have a pretty new animation for the loader. YTMND progress report

We've been hard at work towards our goal of modernizing the player. I wanted to give you all a quick update.

From testing it appears almost all browsers will support FLAC, Vorbis/Opus, as well as perfectly gapless audio playback. This means YTMNDs should work on almost all devices, including phones and tablets. We've seen an outpouring of support of the last week and people have shown they want YTMND to stick around for a bit longer. While I'm diligently working to get a new database online with a backup, we should discuss how to proceed from there.
