Not sure if you recognized the actor playing Masters (the 'Permanent Under-Secretary') who shows up at the end of ep 4, but it's Geoffrey Palmer. He's been in all kinds of British TV and even had an OBE, But you might remember him as the captain of the Titanic (alongside Midshipman Alonso Frame) who -- after being bribed by the baddie Max Capricorn -- magnetizes the ship's hull, so that the meteors crash into the ship in 'Voyage of the Damned' (the Christmas special with Ten and Astrid -- Kylie Minogue). He also shows up again in Classic Doctor Who, but I'm pretty sure this was his first time in the show! <3 P.S. Oh, and fun fact, his son Charles Palmer is a director and has directed several modern Who stories: Series 3's 'Smith and Jones', 'The Shakespeare Code', and 'Human Nature / The Family of Blood' with Tennant, and later Series 10's 'Oxygen' and 'The Eaters of Light' with Capaldi. <3

2022-05-29 08:57:17 +0000 UTCThe Silurians that appeared in Modern Who are distant cousins to theoriginal ones. Doctor Who And The Silurians has so many layers. Both sides are extremely flawed. This makes this story compelling drama.
