“Trippy” is the perfect adjective for this story! Zoe is such a great character, and possibly the Doctor’s intellectual equal in some respects (and also has some great outfits - who can resist the sparkly catsuit!!).

2022-03-07 05:14:13 +0000 UTCZoe was introduced in the story, following on from Fury from the Deep, named The Wheel in Space. This story follows on from the previous story, The Dominators, which ends with the volcanic eruption we see at the start. That story was originally going to be six episodes but was shortened to five so a extra episode had to be added to this story hence the first episode just being the regulars and a lot of white space.
