girls are fertile all the time, but the amount of fertility shifts throughout the month. safe days one is still fertile, but the odds are really low. fertile days are not 100% either.

Awesome update! Can I make suggestion? If you are doing realistic pregnancy timing, you might want to make it so girls are only fertile on certain days? To mimic real life fertility windows?

i haven't played in quite some time (real life getting in the way), so i guess a realistic gestation period means that the game will take a couple of years game time at least. if it goes continuously the question arises if we will ever meet our kids, more specifically our daughters when they are of age. of course then the question becomes can we knock them up too? a game of craster so to speak.

Really excited to see this road map; it sounds promising and satisfying, and I love that you're starting from a baseline of realistic timing - I might suggest, if you're planning on starting with the base line (before serums to accelerate etc.), of a normal in-game term, then to go along with that, the notification from the girl should probably take between two weeks to a month (variable) before she is knows for sure and tells you. I'd be interested to hear what plans you have regarding unique NPCs, and how individually custom their reactions and responses to pregnancy-related activity are hoped to be - especially for family members. No doubt it would be a magnitude of extra word for each fully unique character response set, but it would bite if they didn't react differently to everyone else. Question, for the more devious or nasty-minded player choices - you've mentioned possibilities for a serum to circumvent a girl's contraceptive if she's on one; what are your thoughts on deliberately sneaky and or deeptive behaviour? Will a player be able to negate a girl's protection without her knowing; will we get more options for condom sneaking, or outright last-minute defiance, in cases where the player is or starts out wearing one, but intends to finish without - whether through deception or overt domination/demanding? Glad to hear it'll be fully option - that kind of choice, to do it or not, is an important part of the appeal for many, I think, as well as being important for those who want to avoid it.

I second the idea of potions for men (the main character - though they would DEFINITELY have a good street value): a) Potency - not Viagra, but rather where you (and your energy level) *recover* faster / more times (not that the character needs it, but would be a very male demanded trait). b) Stamina - an energy regen trait that would let you go pretty much indefinitely (though might leave you drained the next day?)... sex until her eyes cross and she can only babble and giggle! "Yes, I can not only HIT that 'Shiver 25' quest, I can do it TONIGHT!" c) Size increase - hey, if we can do it with breasts... and let's face it, the price on an actual working product would be WHATEVER WE FU**ING ASK! d) Increase muscle mass - a trait without the downsides of steroids that gives you muscles? Only *slightly* less in demand than the 'Size Increase' trait!! e) Increase muscle tone - this would be a biggie, as it would also double as a weight-loss trait that would actually be *healthy* (and the only one that [currently] would have an in-game effect other than the Energy recovery one above). Would let the women size down... please make this so

Another idea Vren is adding twins and triplets to the game. (The last time I played that wasn't in yet.).

Another idea would be potions that could add the option of multiple children (Twins, triplets, and what not. Or turn a girl into a breeding machine where you can get her pregnant multiple times while she's already pregnant. :P

1: Perhaps it would be simpler to just have it be a setting for a new game that lets you pick if any of the girls from the first game were pregnant. 2: Great idea!

Would the possibility of creating serums for yourself be considered. Being able to develop one to increase potency, or even chemically made impossible to have children (temp/perm options?)

I am a huge fan of LR1. I of course got all the girls pregnant. :) I've been watching the development of LR2 but have yet to play it or, as you can probably tell, back the patreon. I've been eagerly waiting for the preg content. So it is now time to back to help in the development. I'll wait to play until the preg content gets in though. I can't wait to try preg in LR2! God speed on getting this coded.

I just have 3 questions. 1: Does this mean that you will start working on migrating choices from LR1 into Labrats 2, cause there is a huge slap in the face after getting all the girls in LR1 pregnant, then having them all pretend that it never happened. 2: Will you add a new fetish for the girls, where they actually want to get pregnant so they aren't taking birth control? 3: When you finish up the primary NPC's will they have a locked in personality? (Where they have the same fetish's every time, roll over personality traits from LR1 so if you did any of the extreme training for the girls when LR2 starts up they are in the same boat, even if Alexia did run away and betray the MC by getting a BF.)

While I’m excited for the raft of new serums that this content path opens up I would suggest we steer clear of serums that are abortive. After all, since the choice of impregnating is 100% player choice it doesn’t make sense.

I presume that special roles (e.g. head researcher, Nora) may become unavailable while the girl is on maternity leave? But you would still be able to see the girls while they are on break for personal visits? (I assume for girlfriends and other close relationships it will eventually be possible to be called to attend the birth?)

Wow. Sound interesting. Im not sure, have you ever thought of child support? So Bimbo/gold digger type girl try to get pregnant on purpose if you have a big/ rich enough business to claim money from you. That would make importan in game use of serum traits what make IRL pharmas big money. Contraception pills to reduce chance of pregnancy, abortion pills what cancel early pregancy, or serum trati what can extend pragancy (ok that would be mostly for people who got kink of having sex with pregnant ladies..)
