September Update

Hello Again

Hey Folks! It's been a minute since my last update. 

Since getting my full-time role at Bloody Disgusting in March of this year, I've been booked. I'm incredibly excited to launch two new shows this October, and a new season of SCP Archives, and and continue releasing our true crime show Insidious Inspirations, and and and learn the joys of large corporate structures. But, as you can probably imagine, I've stretched myself quite thin.

As a result, I've fallen far behind on our Patreon rewards, and upkeep. So, ahead of all our releases this fall, Patreon will be my top priority this month. To that end...

Postcard Make Good

I owe each of you postcards! Few important things to know. 

• I have our June design (3004: Cousin Johnny & The Cicada God) printed & in my office.
• I just printed the above design (2744: Tattletale) and expect it to arrive by September 12
• I am making a promise to have all postcards shipped by September 15! 
• Both postcards will be sent to everyone who is currently a patron, and to folks who were patrons in June!
• Lastly, all patrons $20+ will also receive our cute SCP sticker sheet!

I'll be posting with small updates as the postcards come in, and as I work through the process. Additionally, I'll be spending much of this next week catching up on messages from folks who've reached out.

Next Steps for Patreon

Obviously, this make-good is a band-aid on a larger issue. Once postcards are out, I'll be taking a hard look at our Patreon, tiers, and rewards and determining what is actually feasible for me to handle, what can be delegated to our awesome team, and what has to go. 

I'll also be looking to trim the number of tiers we have to make our page more approachable. 

As always, Patreon is a dialogue, so I'll post my thoughts and ideas as I make changes. If I remove/change something that you love and care about, please let me know! 

Live Show

That's right. We're doing a live show! This November 10, Jon Grilz (Creepy), Myself (SCP Archives) and Shelby Scott (Scare You To Sleep) are putting on a joint live show in Chicago's Music Box Theatre.

We're expecting tickets to go live later today, and we'll have a post on Bloody Disgusting with some more information. I'll make a second post today when those tickets are live!

October & Beyond

Our team is working hard behind the scenes on this October's releases, so here's a quick breakdown of what's coming your way!

• Oct 1 - Mayfair Watcher's Society Releases (24 episodes, weekly!) 
• Oct 1 - Creepy's "31 Days of Horror" begins (edited by Pacific!)
• October 10 - Class of '76 releases for Patrons, and on Apollo 
• Mid-October - Skin Crawl Releases (8 episodes, weekly) 
• October 25 - Class of '76 releases for the Public
• November 10 - Chicago Live Show!
• Dec 27 - Class of '76 End (Public Feed)
• Late February 2023 - SCP Archives Season 7 starts

Looking to end this year on a pretty strong foot. There are a few more surprises we might have in store too!

One last thing before I go- Did I mention this season will be starring Brian David Gilbert and feature six original songs from The Blasting Company (Over The Garden Wall)?
