It's about time she gets caught, and by her own daughter too! I hope she exposes her to the whole pride and finds out her mother is also behind ALL the deaths too; it'll be heartbreaking, but at least they'll have answers.

I think Sanyu is attacking her mother because, Zarfia is complaining that she got caught! I also believe that she is also heartbroken by her mother’s betrayal!

i love the (what i think is) intentional ambiguity in the last panel. is sanyu trying to attack her mother, grasping at her in absolute disbelief or both...? you continue to prove why your comics are a cut above in this fandom! amazing stuff!

Mablevi refused to stop fighting. Tacari had to kill him, or be killed by him.

Glad Tacari was able to fight off that gross male! Shocking he killed him though, I was expecting him to run him off. Was Tacari always like that, or did something happen during this confrontation that upset him enough to kill? I guess one will know, and ultimately they're Both dead and it doesn't matter.

I think Zarfia views Sanyu as an extension of herself!

Thank you!

This last panel is so amazing it brings a lot of power to this plot twist! Bravo :)

Thank you! I really enjoyed drawing this page.

Why, thank you! It is my favorite page.

Oooh, loving these night-time scenes! The colors, the stars, the soft glow of the moon, the shadows as they play over the lions....it all looks really, REALLY nice! I love every panel on this page, but escpecially 4 where Zarifa looks every bit the full-on villain she is and the last panel where she is so shocked and Sanyu's grief bleeds raw through our screens. Very nicely done! Well, all of this comic has been so far, but this page really stands out to me. Busted! Finally! It's fitting that Sanyu was the one to finally catch her in the act, though good god I feel so sorry for the poor girl. :( She lost virtually everyone who ever meant anything to her...except one son and perhaps any friends she may have in the pride. She even lost her mother; whether she ultimately ends up executed or exiled for her crimes I can't see anyone being chill with her just continuing to hang around the pride after this. No, everyone is going to be P&^$ed, and rightly so! And that's not even touching on the psychological mess Sanyu probably is, learning this awful truth. I wonder if she will connect her mother to every death...probably most at any rate. Lotta lions died in suspicious ways around her. I've said it before and its been made clear in the comic, but Zarifa is pretty selfish and messed-up. It blows my mind that she thought Sanyu was depressed because she didn't have all the power rather than because so many lions she loved died. Either that or -- more likely in my opinion -- she just sees Sanyu as an extension of herself and assumes that what would make her, Zarifa, happy, would make Sanyu happy too, if she bothered to consider her daughter's feelings at all.

I’d like to also add that the way the blood and moon are drawn is just amazing.

This is what I call correcting injustice!

Busted!

"What is this?? The consequences of my actions?!"

I personally think this is your greatest page of this comic so far. The color schemes, the dialogue, the imagery, it’s just amazing. The 3rd and 6th panels are my favorites.

Not poor Tacari!

Oooooohhh shiiiiiiii
