Status Update

Hey all, first and foremost if you were charged for June 2021, please submit a refund request now. I put the Patreon on hold back in April however I didn't realize I would need to do this every month. You only have 90 days from June 1st, so please do so at your earliest convince. I apologize for that.

As for the status of the translation: it is not halted. This Patreon is shutting down, and I have only kept it open to publish a final patch for the supporters. After this patch I will be closing the Patreon permanently. Originally this was used to cover a portion of my monthly living expenses while I worked on translating the project, but I recently progressed to a full time job. That along with my 19-credit college semester this past spring took the majority of my time. I will not offer any excuses as to why there haven't been patches released.

I understand the frustration that came from my silence, however I was apprehensive about continuing to offer patch release dates and possibly being unable to meet them. The good news is that the final Patreon patch is mostly ready (there's a crashing issue thanks to a GCReEx bug that I'm going to work on fixing soon). It includes a possible fix for GBA minigames (only implemented for the Monday/Thursday game at the moment in case it doesn't work), along with completed islander dialog, more general dialog translations, and some UI translations.

The Patreon will be closed after the patch releases. All past and future patches will be made free one month after. I will expand on much of what I talked about in the patch release post, and announce it in the Discord server then. Again, I'm sorry for the lack of updates. And again, please request a refund for June 2021. The funds are still in the Patreon balance and I cannot return them unless you initiate a refund request.
