Ok guys... i HAD to watch this... I loved the LOTR movies back in the days... i dont remeber everything to be honest... i remember even less of The Hobbit movies... dont let me even start with the books that i've read like 25 years ago so it's like i've never read them... i just remember i liked the LOTR books but i remember it took me years to finis The Hobbit book XD... but anyways... all of this to say that i dont remember much about anything other than vaguely the world an obviously some important points... but this show specifically is based on material i've never read...

i know there is a war going on between the purists and people who just dont care if they are making changes... i am on the second side... like... i dont care if we have black elves or if the female dwarves dont have full grown beards... like... i dont really care till the story is interesting and well made. 

And i am loving this beginning... i still have to watch episode 2 but i LOVED this first episode. The introduction was amazing... the acring is amazing... the music in incredible... but most of everything... visually... the photography... the direction... everything on the visual side is like... the most beautiful thing i've ever seen... MAJESTIC... this gives you the sense of something EPIC happening and even if we are only at episode one... when they said me this is the most expensive show ever made... I CAN SEE THAT... i can see they had an incredible budget and they used it the right way... the cgi is incredible... like... this show could be out there on a theater screen and be better than 90% of the material reaching the cinema latelly...

also... i think this is setting the bar so high for other tv shows that will try to explore fantasy that i almost feel bad for whoever will come later XD... now... i know look is not everything... but let's be real... if a product looks beautiful... it's easier to give it a chance even if you dont know much about the story... 

anyways... i just LOVED the first episode and i was incredibly impressed.
