This does not harm anyone especially since the girls were told ahead of time that they likely didn't have a chance. Also KL had broken up with YR months plus subjective months ago. KL was dealing with inferiority complex and self defeat even so she knew she did not have a chance to win. As for dragging them into a room are you being intentionally obtuse, I've not met teenagers that were on a self made throne that were then forced off it and cooperated with whomever was calling the shots. It would obviously never work. She knows YR cares for her deeply and she sort of sees the advantage of being with him but since she doesn't truly care for him she acted in a callous manner. If she cared for YR at all she would have known why YX was pissed but she was entirely clueless. Benton already knows that force for relationships only leads to pain and decided earlier to stay out of it, go back and read. YX is not trying to be a cold cultivator and Benton is actively trying to lead away from that path, but they do need to face adversity to close some of their blind spot...

But what the fuck Yang Xiu. you MADE YANG RU DATE OTHER GIRLS. And then you get fucking super angry that suddenly "This Bitch Kang Lin is treating the very public Arena match that ALL OUR ENEMIES ARE WATCHING as an actual Arena match not a... whatever Yang Ru thought it was gonna be???". Like WHY THE FUCK DID NOBODY JUST DRAG KANG LIN AND YANG RU INTO A ROOM TOGETHER DURING THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT AND HAVE THEM HAVE A NORMAL TALK. I get that Yang Xiu is too stupid and dreaming of BEING a "evil cold cultivator" (ironically exactly what she accused Kang Lin off) to act normal without someone mature promoting her. But why didn't the assistant ask about it? why didn't BENTON or KLs own grandfather make that happen?

In contrast to the sibling she knows about cultivator marriage and the advantages and disadvantages it provides. She just believes she isn‘t the correct choice for him. She believes she is doing it for his sake and she is showing her love through that. Both grandpas need to speak to them ASAP and get some sense into all of the teenagers. I hope for a happy ending for the lovers and I think with a little help from Benton Kang Lin will cave in while Yang Xiu will reconcile. Yass 🥰

2026-03-17 11:10:34 +0000 UTCI think what Yang Xiu did was uncalled for but agree with others that while I would like Kang Ling to remain Benton's disciple, I think her not getting back together with Yang Ru and them going their separate ways would actually inject maturity into both and give depth to the characters. The siblings should definitely reconcile with her so they still have a professional relationship. Teenagers are dumb but for the same reason not a lot of people marry their high school sweethearts.
