Feels like this is Harry truly moving to form a patronage base in magical britain beyond family ties or noble alliances. This has been alluded to recently with the Scottish enclaves, but this is actual people. Love it.

Croaker being a "lord" is interesting, as its distinct from other non noble heads of house we've seen, so maybe he really is a secret, non-hereditary lord. Hmmmm! People are doing a lot of assuming that they have the Chimera under control.
