motion tracking 3 of ???

okay. so I knew I had recorded some progress work when I had first returned to NY for the next part of the motion tracking series... but I couldn't find the video anywhere. Instead I find this clip of me (dated July 14th 2021) after drinking sake alone at a bar rambling on about how I had lost the first version due to overloading my PC. This is believable. What's unbelievable is that I managed to create a pretty cohesive video about my (then) progress on the scene. 

I decided today, 3 months later (October 11th 2021) to film a 2nd part since I haven't worked on this file in almost the entire 3 months while juggling the parappa video and doll content (can you believe we did all that other stuff in 3 months?). I've returned to work more consistently on this video project bc I'm trying to get it out in like the next 5-6 days. So about half way thru the video, it will cut to present day sober Nathalie with more information about how I figured this scene out.

First part covers in a roundabout non sober way:

-building a scene with assets from vast internet

asset links: flowers, moss & rocks, butterflies 

-scene settings (ambient occlusion, bloom, motion blur, depth of field)

-images as planes alpha settings (clip? blend? hashed???)

Second part (16 min 19 seconds) covers: 

-Miro! I'll make a post about this separately (no I am not sponsored lmao it's just sick)

-images as planes: texture interpolation (CLOSEST!!!)

-scene settings (color management setting... it's a thing)

-the baller mushroom I bought

-how to combine 2 motion tracking files into 1:

convert the object constraint to F-curve (key frames) then moving everything down the timeline

appending files (by collection!)

PS: I mention that I was living alone when I first came back to NY in the summer. This is true and we lived separately for some time until September. The alone time helped me appreciate Dom more and vice versa. We are happily together and trying to make kickass things for the rest of the year. I would really like to make something sick for halloween but idk we're running out of time HAHAHA
