Chapter 14 - I am Spider Tobey

Queens - Midtown High School – Year 2000.

How long has it been since we last met? Do you still remember my name? No? Well, then let me introduce myself—my name is Peter Parker, and I am currently 15 years old... until 7:31 PM.

Today, I officially turn 16, making me the youngest among my girls. They all turned 16 already—some three months ago, others just a few days back. And today, as the youngest, I will finally turn 16, completing our bond. The girls are extremely excited, especially Ursula, who was the first to turn 16 three months ago. But the most excited one is still me. After all, over these years, the girls have become more and more beautiful and hot—they all look at least 18 by now.

It has been 3 years and 3 months since the first Genesis Operation. After the second time, the amount of material I had was simply astonishing, but I never stopped. After all, it's better to have too much than to run out, and it didn’t take up space anyway, haha. With each expedition, I would set aside the resources I wouldn't use for the next month, and compared to what I had, my projects barely consumed any of them. So, my projects started progressing while the amount of materials in my hands only grew. But let’s not talk about that now.

At this moment, I was approaching my classroom with the girls.

"Hey Pete, where are we going to do it?" asked an excited Emily in a whisper, her smile threatening to split her face and a suspicious blush on her cheeks.

"Emily, don't talk about those things in public" whispered a shy and blushing Ursula.

"Why are we whispering? It’s just sex, plenty of people our age do it and are proud of it" countered the logical and rational Gwen, also whispering, despite the blush on her cheeks.

"Gwen, it's our first time, don’t talk like you're not nervous too" whispered M.J., taking the opportunity to tease her friend, who turned even redder after her nervousness was exposed.

"Damn it, Mary Jane, you exposed me, so I'll return the favor. Peter, did you know that M.J.—"

Before Gwen could finish and I could get a peek into M.J.'s dirty secrets, the latter rushed to cover her mouth.

Soon, they were playfully arguing, teasing each other with smiles on their faces. Before long, Emily and Ursula joined the commotion.

Watching the scene, a fond smile appeared on my face. After all, they truly treated each other like sisters.

As I was lost in thought, something caught my attention. At the corner of the hallway, I saw Flash Thompson turn and, upon seeing me, fear flashed in his eyes. He quickly turned back and left in a hurry.

Flash Thompson from Tobey’s universe isn’t a very interesting guy. He’s just a typical school bully... or rather, he was. He tried to threaten me to stay away from my girls so he could have a chance with them. So, I gave him and his goons a beating they would never forget. I also used hypnosis to check if he had ever forced himself on a woman, and he hadn’t. That’s the only reason he’s still alive and well today.

After that, he never bullied anyone again. I guess he didn’t like the taste of his own medicine.

Speaking of that beating I gave them—my body is still just a normal human body. I’ve never enhanced myself in any way, and I never learned any martial arts. But if you think that makes me vulnerable, you couldn’t be more wrong.

From the moment I arrived, I used the AI chip to simulate every possible movement my body could make. Using that as a foundation, I ran billions of simulations on the most efficient ways I could move and fight. But I was only able to fully take advantage of that three years ago. Using the vast amounts of materials I had gathered from space, I built machines that could push my body to its peak without a single trace of trauma. I also created various organic supplements for my body, allowing me to quickly reach the pinnacle of human physicality.

I had the physique of Captain America—without ever injecting a single serum. I was also way more handsome than him, but that was more due to my desire.

My machines and supplements were extremely formidable, allowing me to push past human limits.

I put the girls through the same process. I didn’t like the idea of them being defenseless against any random mafia thug. But I also ensured they didn’t become overly muscular—I liked them the way they were. So, while they became slightly more defined, their appearances didn’t change much... even though they could now lift a ton and run at speeds of up to 90 km/h.

I had revealed the existence of my base and what I had been doing to the girls. Saying they were shocked would be an understatement. But I wasn’t afraid of sharing my secrets—no one could read their minds, and they were incredibly trustworthy. If they had to choose between their lives or mine, they would choose mine. And I would do the same for them.

But the most important reason I told them was... because I love them.

I always hated those fanfic MCs who kept proclaiming how much they loved their girls, yet they either left them behind in a frozen universe, abandoned them with a promise to return, or some other selfish excuse. In the end, it wasn’t about whether the girls missed them—it was about whether they missed the girls.

True love means not leaving. It means wanting them close. It means they want you close.

And never, for any adventure or riches, would I abandon them.

Love is love. Abandonment is abandonment. Sugarcoating words won’t change their meaning.

Sigh It seems having an eidetic memory has its downsides when it makes me remember those fanfic MCs.

The only secret I haven’t told them—and never will—is about my reincarnation. There’s no real reason to tell them. I simply don’t want to talk about it.

Back to the subject. Ever since I enriched the AI chip’s databases and deduced countless subjects, I was able to create a mental projection that let me fight and gain experience. Since my brain works extremely fast along with the AI chip’s tremendous processing power, I could fight for days in just a few minutes inside my mind, gaining immense combat experience.

So, I ran thousands of simulations. I fought against characters from the Hulk to Saitama. I fought as a weaker opponent. I fought as a stronger one. I fought with Spider powers. I fought with the Human Torch’s abilities. I fought in forests. I fought in cities...

I simply fought in thousands of different scenarios. This served to train my will and combat instincts.

In reality, fighting in so many different situations could cause people to forget or mix up their real-world combat skills, but thanks to my eidetic memory, memory partitioning, and super-genius intellect, I had no such problems.

The only thing I could forget was muscle memory... for now.

So, I had experience fighting even against gods. While I didn’t know the inner workings of their powers, I knew how they behaved externally, making it easy to simulate. Of course, some situations would be different—like, maybe Thor’s lightning could deal damage to the soul, for example. Though I doubted it.

But I even simulated exceptional cases like that. Even though I didn’t know what soul damage felt like, I simulated various possibilities—fatigue, unbearable pain, moderate pain, even depression... I simply simulated and experienced everything I could think of.

As I was lost in memory lane, a voice snapped me back to reality.

"Hey Pete, are you just gonna stand at the door?" Emily called out from inside the classroom.

To be continued...
