Chapter 13 - I am Spider Tobey

Sigh I am Peter, I’m 13 years old, it’s been three months since my first space exploration, and right now, I’m exhausted.

Since I had plenty of materials, I decided to establish a global intelligence network. I built thousands of micro-drones and spread them across the world.

These drones had ultra-high-resolution 360-degree cameras. Even though they were micro-sized, they could perfectly capture their surroundings. They also had long-range heat sensors, allowing them to see through obstacles.

The total surface area of Earth is approximately 510 million km².
The observation micro-drones were the size of a micro-unit.
For better visualization, 1 cubic centimeter is equivalent to 1 million cubic micro-units.

I had to build around 120 trillion micro-drones, each responsible for 1 km², to perfectly record the entire Earth's surface.

Fortunately, they were just micro-drones—I barely used any material to make them. After all, 120 trillion micro-drones stacked together barely reached 0.12 cubic meters of material.

NBs are truly incredible. I spent only 0.12 cubic meters of material to be able to see the entire world. Of course, without my thousands of projects, this would have been impossible. In fact, if Tony Stark saw a drone this small recording everything around it perfectly, he might say it’s scientifically impossible. Sorry, Tony—it is possible.

Honestly, I’ve already seen far more absurd things in Marvel.

Going back to surveillance, processing and storing this much data required clusters of supercomputers and an absurd number of servers, along with many other things I had to spread across the Earth. Fortunately, I could make everything on a microscopic scale—though I had to solve various problems that come with mini-computers, such as quantum effects, connectivity, power supply, and heat dissipation.

But enough of that. I spread the micro-drones across the planet and named the operation HEIMDALL—after all, it allowed me to see the entire world.

When Operation HEIMDALL was completed and I could see everything happening on Earth, instead of feeling happy, I felt anger and disgust.

It’s not that I didn’t expect such things to happen in the world. But imagining something and actually seeing it are two completely different things. Some of the horrors I witnessed were simply unimaginable.

Even my intelligent and creative mind could never have envisioned some of the atrocities people committed when they thought no one was watching.

So, I decided—the world needs a hero.

But not just any hero. It also needs someone with the right motivations and enough power to dirty their hands with the blood of thousands.

I created drones similar to the Stark drones that Mysterio used, but more powerful and lethal. I designated targets around the world and sent the drones on different missions.

There were two types of missions: Extermination and Control.

Unfortunately, the Extermination mission could not be executed immediately—it could only be launched after the Control mission was completed.

The Control mission was simple. The drones would carry AI chip-servants and inject them into the brains of every person in political power around the world.

These AI chip-servants were subprograms of my AI chip. They functioned in a way that gave me complete access to the target’s mind. I could have them fully under my control—or just partially, if I wished.

Using HEIMDALL, the AI chip categorized individuals based on my standards, determining who would receive full control and who would receive partial control.

I decided that those in political power who committed truly heinous acts in the shadows—who deserved to be extermination targets—would receive full control and, at a later date, would die for some reason. After all, I didn’t want their names in human history for doing something good under my control.

Those who received partial control might not have been good people, but they weren’t completely evil either. They would still live their normal lives; they would simply be influenced when making decisions about the world’s future.

And that’s how I decided to govern the world.

It took two days to complete the mission. It was that fast because I had an NB base in every city on Earth.

In the end, I had to control a lot of people, since the power structures of countries were highly fragmented. Even so, I didn’t have absolute power—but I had enough.

Then, I launched the Extermination mission.

This mission was simple: eliminate those who didn’t deserve to be called human. And there were many of them—they were like cockroaches.

That day, 17,123,318 people died. Beside their bodies, photos of some of their crimes were left behind.

The entire world froze in the face of such carnage.

The most horrifying part? Thousands of people who had been kidnapped, tortured, and subjected to worse fates were finally able to return home.

The shocking truth soon spread across the world.

The ones who died that day should never have been called people. They were demons that had crawled from the depths to steal everything good from the unfortunate.

It’s been one month and a few days since that day.

They all died on the same day. I allocated all my resources to kill them immediately—I didn’t want them to live a second longer.

Though… that was also my mercy.

It wasn’t fair that they got off so easily.

What bothered me most was the month that followed.

No matter how much they were trash, I couldn’t sleep knowing I had the blood of millions on my hands.

Fortunately, I wasn’t alone.

I had people I could rely on when I was at my weakest—people who, even without knowing what I had done, supported me and begged me not to face it alone next time, because they would be there with me.

Ursula, Emily, Gwen, and Mary Jane.

They are those people.

People I would give everything for.

And who would give everything for me too.

I didn’t tell them what I did.

Even though I trust them, I didn’t want them exposed to this side of the world so soon.

After all, they were only 13 years old.

…Well, enough of this depressing subject.

That’s not very Peter Parker of me.

Or maybe it is?

Getting depressed at some point is kind of a Spider-Man trademark.

Not getting back up—that would be un-Peter Parker.

So, I moved forward with my plans.

For the past month, aside from ordering the AI chip to control politicians and maintain order after the Extermination mission, I hadn’t done much.

Now, it was time to set the world on the right path.

I didn’t intend to create a perfect world. In fact, its imperfections are what make it progress.

But since I planned to use this world as my base, I at least had to shape it into something I liked—something that made people happy.

After all, a sad world is not one I want to live in.

To avoid making it obvious that someone was controlling the world, I made the 193 countries form true alliances, merging with one other country every two years.

So, in two years, there would be 96 alliances.
 In four years, 48 alliances.
 In six years, 24 alliances.
 In eight years, 12 alliances.

By the tenth year, I would establish a Unified Nation—with me as its sovereign.

Sounds stupid, right?

And you’re right—it is stupid.

But I wasn’t just doing that.

For ten years, I would lay the foundations of my empire to ensure there would be no chaos.

I would use my resources and intelligence for the task…

…maybe a little imperceptible global mind manipulation to ease the transition…

What?

I don’t have many taboos anymore, hahaha.

Honestly, I could do this much faster.

But a long-term plan is better for people to adapt.

Besides… I wouldn’t gain much by becoming the world’s ruler too soon.

It’s better to enjoy life until I’m 22, then officially govern the world.

Because, let’s be real—I'm already ruling it via the AI chip.

I don’t even want this that much.

I’m just doing it because…

"With great power comes great responsibility."

If I can make the world better without much effort—

Why hesitate?
