Finishing the Year (Upcoming Schedule)
Added 2024-12-20 19:54:44 +0000 UTCJust a quick schedule update as we close out the year. I don't do these often, but I have the next few weeks lined up due to holidays.
This weekend I'll be paying my respects to Ka, sitting with Descendants of Cain today, The Thief Next to Jesus tomorrow, and Orpheus vs. the Sirens on Sunday.
Next Friday (27th) will be Kanye's Donda album, using the original tacklisting, dropping the parts 2s, and closing with 3 tracks from the deluxe (Up From the Ashes, Never Abandon Your Family, Life of the Party (Uncensored version))
January will kick off with Magdalena Bay's Imaginal Disk album (that reaction has already been recorded)

2024-12-20 20:59:19 +0000 UTCKeep my spirit alive pt 2 was the original version when donda came out, but Kanye switched it and made it a pt 2 later on, only difference is kaycyy on chorus instead of kanye, pt 2 def sounds better but not a big deal if you listen to the current one now, just letting you know that the pt 2 was the original released version

2024-12-20 20:41:28 +0000 UTCeven if you’re not a tyler fan, the vocals on the Come to life are just better on the deluxe. donda deluxe as a whole isn’t good, but the weight of the words kanye’s saying is more grand on that version, the vocals seem more impactful due to the depth of both vocals ykwim
