Script Control launched recently and it most likely came as a complete surprise to most of you. Good! I wish to keep on surprising you with more than you expected. As a way of showing thanks to my monthly and yearly supporters.
Speaking of supporters, the amount of issues for one-time supporters has been reduced but issues like people forgetting to cancel their membership still persist. That is why I plan on completely phasing out the one-time option for Sprucemarks in the future. Most likely when I have three Patreon supported browser extensions available.
Sprucemarks meets the above criteria as it is stable and available on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Script Control should meet this criteria once it is available on Edge and Firefox. Assuming Firefox is going to add support for the API calls needed behind the scenes. That leaves one more extension which I am already working on in secret to round out the offerings.
Given enough time, I believe I will have more than three extensions but I do not want to limit myself to just browser extensions. Over time I hope to be able to work on and share tutorials, 3D designs, electronic projects, stand alone software, interactive videos, and anything else I am passionate about.
If things work out really well I hope to be able to recruit my first and longest running supporter Rend from their normal job. Why take care of over 10 million users in a high stress environment when you could instead work with me on software, comics, and game ideas that we have been scheming about for years!
As a realistic optimist, I feel the future can be a much better place through hard work and persistence. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. ^_^
