Yeah, I need to do some freestyle videos soon. Hopefully I can get my son to sit down with me on a few, that'd be fun

2022-10-28 11:59:35 +0000 UTCBrockhampton has been mentioned pretty consistently since I started the channel. Hoping to get to them soon

2022-10-28 11:58:44 +0000 UTCI can hear the chaos of everything else in this album. Groggs is the heartbreak on top of it all

2022-10-28 11:57:55 +0000 UTClol, I felt the same way... but I've been so wrong about those things before, I wasn't sure

2022-10-28 11:56:57 +0000 UTCWas gonna tweet at you but figure I’d post here for the most exposure 🙏🏻 Freestyle videos are a huge part of hip-hop culture and arguably some of the absolute most fun content to consume!! Feel like some random monday should be a couple popular freestyle videos voted on by patreon and if it proves to be a hit maybe that could be the new slot for a little while P.S: If you do end up doing it this the one that’s going crazy rn that’s restored the freestyle feeling at the moment 🤯 https://youtu.be/AD3BDS1bKCM

2022-10-23 03:42:35 +0000 UTCLove Wild Wild West. The presence of Groggs is felt this entire album, bits and pieces of him exist in so many tracks. To have WWW after Top Picks was so amazing to me because it's one final big like hard as fuck track. Goin all out, parker showin his skills producing beats that transcend our ears. Shit feels like 5G, and every time I picture the three ghosting in and out flickering like lights, But to them they're jamming out one final raw performance on like an ethereal plane with Groggs fully present (his voice is in the song whispering in the background). But u know u can only hear bits and pieces cuz it transcends us, we ain't there. You know how Ritchie described Groggs' presence in algorithms? And here they pull from that, they're IN 5G cuz that's where Groggs' exists. That's at least how I try to make sense of the combo of those two tracks. Love it, love this project, love the concept. I could go on and on about this shit

2022-10-22 07:23:41 +0000 UTCYeah they being very much contemporaries and all that, I had moments for some reason during this I was thinking of the Brock bois. They're so different, but, they're pulling from the same energy sources or something, IDK.

2022-10-22 06:57:32 +0000 UTCYo bob! amazing reaction. I was just as speechless as you at the end. Grateful to be able to live to hear this project. Btw I think looking up the music videos for Knees and Outside can help contextualize the process of making this album. Also it's worth to check some of the live performances tied to this project. Their youtube channel has a video showing an extended ending to Superman That during their live performance in Phoenix. It's truly inspiring seeing them perform even while the loss of Groggs is so felt.

2022-10-22 06:53:31 +0000 UTCSurprised I haven't heard Brockhampton in the converstation yet. Would definitely recommend listening to the saturation albums.

2022-10-22 06:24:53 +0000 UTCOne of those albums you have to be in a very certain mood/mindset to listen to I think…Knees made me cry like a baby first time I heard it

2022-10-22 02:58:36 +0000 UTCTop Picks for You always gets me as well man, something about how they leave you in the track after the lyrics are done mixed with the emotion and relatability of it all just hits different. Wonderful album.

2022-10-22 02:01:39 +0000 UTCOne of the best albums ever made tbh, glad you finally got to experience it

2022-10-22 00:25:51 +0000 UTCthis is, possibly, my favorite album ever, but, damn, i NEVER listen to it. it absolutely destroys me every time. an interesting part of it is that, according to Ritchie, the album was basically done BEFORE Groggs passed away. it was only delayed because of Covid, not because of his untimely passing. that info makes the themes even more haunting and depressing knowing that these were struggles that they were dealing with even before Groggs passed, and they were multiplied by x1000 after losing him. this album is genuinely one of the greatest pieces of artwork ever. .. but i'll only listen to it like once a year bc its hard to get through.

2022-10-21 23:03:31 +0000 UTCThe “you” is just a funny reference to Soulja boy The guy who wrote the annotation is projecting a weird fictional tension between Draco and Injury reserve It’s just ridiculously pretentious and close minded and also he gets no bitches
