Feri Extension Introduction and New Version
Added 2020-07-23 23:15:04 +0000 UTCThe Feri Extension is a web browser extension for developers. It connects to the Feri build tool and automatically reloads a web page when files change. Freeing up 3-5 seconds of developer time, each time a reload is needed.
Handsfree reloading also means less mouse and keyboard fatigue. Plus the ability to glance at a web page without having to leave your editor.
As you might have guessed, the Feri Extension is one of my favorite tools to use when working on web projects. ^_^
New Version
A new version of the Feri Extension is available for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

- New scroll restoration feature restores your scroll position after a reload.
- New test suite for developers.
- Unofficial support for Brave, Opera, and in theory, all Chromium based browsers.
The new scroll restoration feature requires URL and Tab permissions. URL permissions to execute content scripts before and after a page reload. Tab permissions to detect when a page reloads.
If you already had Feri installed, you'll need to allow the extra permissions but otherwise it should be a painless upgrade. None of the permissions will ever be used for nefarious purposes and thanks to the open source nature of this extension, you can always confirm that by perusing the GitHub repository. ^_^
