You will get an answer to one thing next episode and the reveal does have some impact on both Charlie and her mission. I actually chuckled at Sam's “apple doesn't fall far from the tree” comment since part of that was a lyric in a song a few minutes later. I know this is so weird, especially considering the type of show this is, but I had a WTF moment with the “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” reference. I know this is a musical show, but I was still thrown when Lucifer popped up with a golden fiddle. I guess someone on the creative team is a big fan of the song and saw the opportunity. 😆
