I realised at the premiere that they might've given as a clue as to why the uncle wasn't involved. He did go to the army like his mother wanted. Same thing she wanted for the boy. So if the uncle did as he was told, he's pretty much a puppet, he is not a threat. Of course, I'm speculating here, might not have been the case - Maria

2024-07-25 02:36:39 +0000 UTC**Spoiler** I knew immediately when I saw the hitman that a family member hired him, but I suspected the mother until we got into the story. I was surprised that the uncle had zero involvement in anything.

2024-07-23 22:23:05 +0000 UTCI say this too often, but this was on my list to eventually watch. (Mental health and an often hectic schedule. *shrugs*) Not perfect, but this was quite a good film. I recall there was some big complaint when this film came out, but I can't remember the specific issue nor do I see one during my viewing of it. This is giving me a little push to watch the sequel in the next week or two so I don't find an excuse to put it off.
