The Columbine school shooting happened days before this was supposed to air. It got pushed back, but it aired in Canada and copies on VHS poured over the border. Most of the online fans willing to share their addresses saw this before it aired. Joss posted something like, "It's bad that people are sending copies of the episode around. You shouldn't send it to as many people as you can. That would be wrong." I think the network was against it and asked him to ask us to stop. So he technically did as he was told. One of the odd cases where sarcasm actually worked on the internet. This episode is now in the proper order. It was supposed to air either 4/23 or 4/30/99, but got pushed until September 21st or 28th (different sites list different days). So this left a big gap between Ep 3.17 snd Ep 3.19 from March 19th to May 4th. Buffy, shut the curtain when you visit Angel. Jeez. I think you gave her too much credit when she broke up with Angel in the previous episide. It was far more about her being insecure watching him with Faith than anything else. And, with their history, that is silly, especially since she put him in that position. You paused in the middle of Willow's line about physical aspects of the demon, so I don't know if you caught it. "What if he's a boy demon?" I think that Buffy's obsession over external aspects was to make telepathy more of a reveal. Williw interrogated Jonathan a lot. Or at least twice, including Go Fish. Speaking of Charmed: RIP Shannen. She was two years younger than me. One of the prettiest girls in my school took her life with her father's service pistol (cop) two weeks after a party we were both at. You never would have guessed she was go in that direction. And even though I barely knew her, I still felt a lot of guilt for awhile for having been at that party and to somehow miraculously helped. I never found out why she did it.

Giles walking into the tree was added by Anthony Stewart Head In the cafeteria scene after buffy dropped the tray, when Maria said "that guy", that actor was in an episode of Charmed. the episode was called That Old Black Magic, in season 2. The witch Tuatha, Kyle aka The Chosen One has to use her wand to vanquish her
