PODCAST DAY!

First episode KISS OF LIFE.

I say everything I need to say about the klandettes and I won't speak of them no more unless something significant shifts cos I've been seeing some annoying false equivalences in my comment sections so maybe this episode will serve as a PSA as to why you should leave people alone, me first.

Second Episode GIRLS GENERATION and the Jessica Jung story.

As we talk about their journey briefly into becoming ICONS and celebrating their 18th anniversary (i actually recorded this way before their anniversary but timing worked to save it until now) as well as thoughts and conspiracies about why things went down the way they did with Jessica!

Enjoy - remember to RATE and comment if you haven't already <3

PERFECTLY said!!

Honestly have so much to say about the kiof situation. It is crazy how their apology is NEVER as loud as the disrespect. They love to reap the benefits of our community yet we still happen to be the subject/butt of their jokes. It’s honestly always been this way in history, so not at all surprised. The wasted potential is upsetting because I genuinely liked the group, but I REFUSE to support them. I keep these standards with Chris Brown, R. Kelly, Drake, etc. But I definitely don’t get on my keyboard feeling comfortable enough to try to convince people on the internet to care. If they wanted to they would. TRUST.

Sorry i didn't feel comfortable leaving a public comment on spotify so i'll post here. I enjoyed your take on SNSD and Jessica. I can see the thought process on Sooyoung since she's got a really bold personality. From what i see on their variety shows, if i knew someone like her in real life, i would probably avoid her since I'm quite mellow LOL. Starting at 32 minutes until the end of the podcast, I also had a similar thought process, that Jessica most likely wanted more freedoms at her point in her idol career since she started training quite earlier than the rest, those thoughts on "what's next" came earlier than the other girls but the other girls sort of villain-ified (is that a word?) her desire for solo endeavors since she was the first but they all ended up focusing on solo projects soon after. I also wonder how they look back on it now after they all ended up branching out and are older with a different perspective

I forgot the n word thing!

Interesting theory regarding SNSD and Jessica. I was nodding my head while listening. I can see this as a very plausible take. Even though other musical groups/bands over the years have reconciled I don't know why but I just have a feeling this one will remain a bittersweet mark on the group. The two books although fictional probably burnt that bridge if there ever was one. I know they aren't perfect. They are human - resentment, jealousy, anger, pettiness probably made appearances behind the scenes but I also saw genuine friendship, protection, support and love. It wasn’t all fake. Truth is at some point Girls' Generation became bigger than the girls themselves. Just seems like some members recognized the importance of the "brand" earlier than others.
