great episode, i loved reminiscing on their discography! one thing i'm surprised you didn't mention was how because 'black mamba' was not vocal heavy, people were doubting them and their vocals (kinda like h2h rn), until they released the cover of 'forever' before 'next level' and people started to see the depth and actual vocal skill all four of the members possessed, which is what snowballed into how viral 'next level' went. idk if it's nostalgia and/or bias for being one of my favorite aespa ballads, but to go from bm to 'forever' is such a jarring and insane switch-up, which literally shut everyone who were doubting their abilities, up. however, given how big 'next level' was, i do understand why 'forever' wasn't mentioned as it tends to be a forgotten song nowadays haha. i emphasize this section in aespa's history bc it reminds me so much of how taeyeon went viral as a main vocal after debut when she released "If," a viral ost song bc she sang it, after debut, which can be seen through aespa's debut to having a ballad.

They’re so visually interesting that sometimes the music lacks for me but a lot of their songs have won me over with time!! I don’t hate dirty work but it was kinda disappointing for me. I lowkey miss their naevis calling era it was so unpredictable and fun to listen to. I think I just want SM to make loud crazy music again…..😭
