BIG BANG JAPAN Concert 2014

No but that isn't my sole motivation, I'm also trying to beat my hating YG artists allegations.
In terms of stage presence and band arrangements, I don't think anyone is passing YG GROUPS when it comes to an immersive experience with LIVE vocals, something SM fails at constantly however the pay off is a lot YG's music can get repetitive in style whereas SM blows other companies out of the water when it comes to experimentation and executing other genres and also OTT vocals. I also love the NATURAL stage presence you get from YG artists. Pulls you in.
Also if I wasn't so impatient I actually would've enjoyed their crowd interactions cos it was soooo out of the box and refreshing. I'm glad I caught the moments I did.
Big Bang's catalogue was also little more enjoyable than 2NE1. I expected more rearrangements like what they did for Haru Haru, the reason why I picked this tour but it's fine though I hope that band returns.Their dance tracks didn't feel as jarring but I wish they had more magical slow songs. Daesung's vocals really impressed me! I already knew Taeyang would eat cos .. DUH! But Dae really brought it. He's so hot too!!
Their star quality is BEYOND. 2nd gen groups are just something else. The fact this concert is so good before they released even MORE iconic songs is crazy so I may check out another concert of theirs after!

2024-10-09 06:05:57 +0000 UTCTheir concerts get better and better. During this concert they hadn’t released their album MADE yet. I suggest to watch Made concert final in Seoul. But if you want something more recent than that I also suggest their 0 to 10 concert final in Japan or Seoul. I don’t know if you react to solo concerts but Gdragons motte tour 2017 in Seoul is a must watch as well. Dude is a performer!

2024-08-10 20:41:00 +0000 UTCi haven't sat through a big bang concert before but damn the stage presence! one thing YG has had over other companies is teaching their idols to interact with their fans - there's no lets just do choreo and sing the song exactly like the CD. Wish SM adopted this mentality like imagine band ver with different arangements and pure live vocals from soshi for 100% of the concert?? GD, TOP & Taeyang really birthed a lot of male idols like i can see all the groups they influenced like ateez, bts, bap, skz, etc. Their old edm ass songs haven't aged that well but it isn't as bad as 2ne1 so i'll take it lol you had me cackling when u said GD is giving free palestine xD
