V's growth as a singer has to be studied. He UNDERSTANDS nuance, dyanmics, tone and texture. How he paints a picture with every word EFFORTLESSLY with SOUL whilst making it look easy shows how proficient he is as a singer.
He's easily joined Sangyeon as one of my favourite male vocalists. He's not a pop singer, he's a soul singer which is an extremely rare find in Kpop and the world in general. What beautiful is that he shows that being a belter is not the be all and end all of being an excellent singer, his finesse and assuredness is more than enough.
I LOVED THIS so much and am now in LOVE with V as a singer. He has grown into his sound BEAUTIFULLY in ways I could not have imagined.
You see how I just wrote this off the cuff? LOL the words are just coming out and I mean every single one and more!

Their chemistry during their conversations is so special and fun to watch & their singing is obviously amazing!!! This has to be my favorite duet of his so far, I hope he does more duets in the future! 💜🔥

But in the beginning you had me worried that you would give up on watching the full episode and decide to only do the songs LOL

2023-09-16 13:04:25 +0000 UTCI've never been a fan of BTS so I had never listened to V sing, I only watched this because as a Ueana I watch every episode of IU's Palette and this was a bit surprising to me ? He has a rare type of voice in kpop and from what I've seen he chose to do music that really suits his voice for his solo album. I don't love the songs but I can appreciate his vocals and also his personality and looks of course lol He's very cute! <3 Btw this version of Ending Scene was lovely, I liked how they arranged it in a way that it sounds like it could be in his album. I'll be looking forward to more V music, his voice is *chef's kiss*

For someone like me who is an IU fan and watched a lot of IU vlogs, I see its charm, but the show can drag sometimes. Quietness is an IU thing, though. I call it an introvert's charisma, the ability to keep attention while doing almost nothing. Its rather rare, and IU is one of the best (like V). Its there in her acting, singing, talking, etc... Nice reaction vid as always. You are able to enjoy the music, react, share & explain at the same time, so kudos to you

I haven't enjoyed V's vocals since singularity because he would sing like he's either yawning or has something stuffed in his throat for the past few years. This sounds really good like he's been taking lessons fr. He might be the second best vocalist in bts now because what?! Maybe I need to check out his album. EDIT: ok he's probably my fav bts vocalist period. The work he put in is showing and I like that he wants to continue to improve and grow as an artist. Certain idols don't bother with taking vocal lessons or even admitting to wanting learn from others and then fans gets so defensive if ppl even have an opinion. This is refreshing to see.

All of them decided to put out their most personally "indulgent" music and that's the best way to see bias, as quality notwithstanding, I see whose tastes vibes with my own. And V is the one for me. And here he is with IU, my favourite soloist in kpop, so this was definitely my video. Watched it right away earlier on my IU notification. Will rewatch again with your video later tonight :)
