Yes! Definitely very much aware of their artistry. It was so cute to see all her staff (makeup, hair, stylist, dancers, choreographer etc) post on instagram about the event with the hashtage #TeamSeulgi. She's been working closely with a lot of them the last year, I'm glad she's been able to build a team around her that supports her artistic vision for herself. I don't think she gets enough credit for that as an idol

Okay I'll take your word for it and I LOVE that she sought out the previous director which shows these artists are very much aware of their own artistry in ways some fans ignore! I wish it was like a proper camera though, will that ever be released? Love this for her!

2023-08-30 11:50:11 +0000 UTCIdk if you'd be interested, but she recently performed at a festival for the first time as a solo in Mexico and performed 5/6 of the songs on her album all with choreo, some even with dance breaks. Her whole set was 30mins and she also performed solo ver of group songs incl Bad Boy, Psycho and Automatic (!!!) - as well as beloved b side from RV's 2nd full album Look which she remixed to fit festival setting..... like it was a lot! I respect her artistry so so much. I know you said this album wasn't to your personal taste, but I just wanted to drop a link to her set because the transitions from one song into the next while she's performing is crazy. It flows so well. And no wonder it does when she literally personally sought out Red Velvet's original concert director (not from their recent questionable concert but their previous ones) to direct it for her. And she brought on the choreographer for Naughty to choreograph a tutting performance for Los Angeles. It was so good!!
